About a month ago, I had a situation happen at my work that still is dumbfounding me now.

A lady and her 4 year old child came into the store. Mom decides to let this child wander around by himself while she looks at the fish tanks. While I am ringing out a customer on the register she butts right in and yells “I am going to sue you because my kid got pinched by a hermit crab”. (did not even break the skin) I turn to her and smile, which seems to enrage her even further. She then says that it is our fault because my sales people were not watching her kid.
Again I smile, but this time I ask “Where were you?”
OMG now she is demanding the corporate office number, the owners personal cell phone number, and threatens to sue us all. I apologized and said that I do not have the corporate number, will not give out the owners number, and waved as I said “Have a nice day”

Why can’t we be allowed to just smack the sense into them?
They must be putting a dumb chemical in the water, and ironically only the ones drinking the water are breeding.
