MMMMM, smells like chicken!
The last few years I have tackled the art of cooking my own food, especially from scratch, chicken scratch. Why have I undertaken such an interest in cooking? I think that everyone should learn this fundamental chore that is essential for survival. Recipes that used to be common in a household like making bread, sauces, jerky, salad dressing, canning, deserts, and even soaps and lotions are rare to the point of near extinction. Pre-fabbed boxes of chemicals just don’t do it for me any longer, I require real food, made MY WAY. Not only does this taste better, it is healthier, cheaper, and safer than eating food that has chemicals meant to preserve a dead body or enhance paint. The only drawbacks are the preparation time, and limited shelf life… but I don’t care any more. Redux Restaurant Recipes !

I love how your blog is structured!
It serves a very unique purpose.
Do you mean you have your own chickens too? Just so to clarify your scratching quote. Perhaps I am missing the point there somewhere.
It is good that you are taking initiative to prepare your food from scratch. That is very important, as well as enjoyable. Do you enjoy it?
Like you say, it is created your way and you know what ingredients are included with what you make and that always makes a difference.
I too love cooking everything from scratch as I love the art of cooking and the creation on the other side.
Well met Ana and I really appreciate your comment. The scratch quote was intended to be a pun because of the name of my blog “basket of eggs” and “from scratch”, I guess I botched it a little. LOL.
Surprisingly, I do enjoy cooking, more than I ever thought possible. Seeing the look on people’s faces when they bite into something for the first time is amazing, even more so when they like it… hahaha
Your own blog “Expressive World” is pretty neat too. I really like the purple and yellow flower photograph, macro is my favorite.
Look forward to chatting more in the future,

Hey Bryan,
It’s a fun pun to have, fitting in well with your blog. heehe
I know how you feel from that regard, as I also am eager in seeing people’s faces when they bite into something I have created. I am particurlarly drawn to baking, and that always seems to go down wonders.
